This guy manages to stay totally cool despite his enormous urge to create. Okay… he is restless, never stays at the same place for long but he makes it all look very ´zen´-nish. Somewhere deep inside there has to be an inner strength providing him the basic serenity to deal with all that energy.

We spent a fun afternoon at the College Hotel in Amsterdam to shoot pictures for his new CD. Tom was so courageous to just being Tom which led to great pictures and a lot of fun. You should check his website and listen to the guy blowing his horn!

As the most of you may know, Ivo Opstelten is no longer the Mayor of Rotterdam. To honour him for giving his best to the city for 10 years Trea van Vliet decided to having a book published.

I was given the honour to contribute 15 black & white portraits of people close to Opstelten. Among them his Amsterdam counterpart Job Cohen (photo), his wife and his friends Jules Deelder and Frans Weisglas. I included the images in my portfolio.
